Use CAPTCHA to Make Your Forms More Secure

CAPTCHA tests help tell the difference between human users and bots, making your experience and systems more secure by keeping bots away from your forms.

CAPTCHA is accessible and easy to complete. We have recently updated the version of reCAPTCHA that we use, so that the test will run in the background and Google will only ask the respondent to complete the visual challenge if they do not meet the set tolerance threshold. Users will know that the reCAPTCHA test is complete by the symbol that appears in the bottom-right corner of the live form.

The reCAPTCHA test is automatically enabled on all forms, unless an admin has changed your Organization Defaults to turn it off.

To turn it off for an individual form:

  1. Go to your form Settings > General settings.
  2. Under Set and forget, uncheck the box to Use CAPTCHA to make sure user is human, not a bot.
  3. Select Save general settings.
