Cap Form Responses

Some forms may have a maximum number of responses you expect or can take. For example, an event or workshop may have a limited number of places available, so you need to set a limit of the number of responses the registration form can take. While you can set a limit for overall form responses, there is no way to limit the number of responses per person.

To set a response limit:

  1. Go to the form Settings > Response settings.
  2. Expand Limit number of responses.
  3. Enter the Maximum number of responses.
  4. Enter the Message to show respondent when response limit is reached.
  5. Select Save response settings.

  6. Save and Publish your form.

Although you can’t set an expiry date, users on an Enterprise plan can set a deactivation date or deactivate a form immediately. Doing this means that anyone who tries to access the live form will see a message that the form has been removed, although you can change the content this in Settings > Buttons, text & messages > Other text content > Message to show respondents when form is archived or disabled.
