After you archive a form, it is still accessible in your OpenForms account. This allows you to view the form, including responses and analytics, and restore it at any time so you can re-use it.
Archiving a form, and later restoring it, means you can temporarily take a form offline, such as if you have an annual recurring event registration. Or you can restore a previously built form to edit it and use it for a different purpose.
Archived forms are included in your storage limit. You can delete them to free up space, but we recommend exporting the response data first, and exporting the form itself and keeping the JSON file if there’s a chance you will want to use it in the future.
To find and use your archived forms:
- Go to Forms in the main menu.
- Select Archived from the Show drop-down menu.
- Select a form to view the form’s Responses or Analytics.
- Select Restore to create a new draft version of it.
