Change your plan or add-ons

Only account owners can change plans and add-ons.

If your plan doesn’t fit you quite right, you can change it at any time. We offer four plans: Basic, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. Read more about them here to see which one suits you best.

We also offer add-ons to perfectly tailor OpenForms to your needs. Use them to increase your storage or number of users whenever you’re running low.

To change your plan or add-ons, go to Subscription from the main menu--you’ll be able to see your current subscription details and make updates.

Change your trial plan

Your free 30-day trial starts on a Basic plan, but you can swap to a Pro or Business plan at any stage of your trial. This way you can try out all of OpenForms’ features before you choose the plan that’s right for you.

Once you swap to a higher plan, you can’t swap back to a lower plan without ending your trial. Make sure you’ve tried all the features of your current plan before you swap.

  1. In the Subscription area, find the Your current trial plan panel and press Update.

  2. Select a Pro or Business plan.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and press Upgrade trial.

Finish your trial and register for a plan

Once you’ve completed your free 30-day trial, we’ll ask you to register for a plan. Visit our plan information page to figure out which plan is right for you.

At any stage of your trial, you can end it and register straight away. In the Subscription area, find the Your current trial plan panel and press Update. At the top of the page, follow the link to finish your trial and register for a plan.

You’ll be taken to the Select a new plan page where you can follow the steps to register your plan.

Change your plan

  1. In the Subscription area, find the Your current plan panel and select Update.

  2. On the Select a new plan page, choose a Monthly or Yearly billing cycle. Choose a yearly billing cycle to save 10%.

  3. Choose a plan, then press Next.

    • If you’re changing to Pro or Business, choose any add-ons you want, then press Next. If you’re upgrading from a Basic plan, you’ll need to confirm your billing details.

    • If you’re downgrading your plan, you’ll see a list of What will change.
      Be aware that some of your forms or users might be disabled. If you're an Enterprise user who creates OpenForms through OpenCities or SeamlessCMS, downgrading will automatically disconnect your accounts. Go to the OpenCities help center or the SeamlessCMS help center for more information. 

      Confirm that you understand the changes, then press Next to see a summary.
      If you downgrade, you’ll stay on your current plan until the end of the current billing cycle.

    • If you’re upgrading to Enterprise, enter your contact details so we can get in touch with you.

  4. Confirm your new plan.

Change your add-ons

Pro, Business or Enterprise

Increase your storage or number of users (Business plans only) by getting some add-ons.

  1. In the Subscription area, find the Your current plan panel and select edit add-ons. If you don’t have any add-ons, select See what’s available.

  2. Click the plus and minus buttons to increase or decrease your add-ons.
    If you decrease your add-ons, you’ll keep your current add-ons until the end of the current billing cycle.

  3. Press Next to review your changes.

  4. Press Change add-ons.

If you’re not sure if you need add-ons, it might help to track your response and storage limits.

Remember, you can come back to the Subscription area to change your plan or add-ons anytime.
